Manufacturer and Oil Company guarantees: Xbee® has been analyzed by DNV (Norway) and granted non-objection and recommendation letters from the primary international manufacturers. Moreover, Xbee® complies with applicable European regulatory standards: EN 590 diesel, CSR 441 domestic heating oil, and CSR 500 heavy fuel oil 500.
The CLT Experience.
From the end of 2004, CLT and its subsidiaries opted for theXbee® fuel additive in their fleet’s fuels.
The aim was to definitively eliminate contamination problems (bacteria) that hinder engine operations. Other vessels will be taking advantage of the enzyme biotechnology, including the tugs operating in the Loire delta: Val d’Europe, Val d’Ancenis, Val d’Armor, Val d’Argoat, Val d’Avel.
