Serving our environment


Xbee® is essentially dedicated to protecting, or at least preserving, the environment :

First of all by its entirely organic composition, the Xbee® enzyme biotechnology cannot harm the environment.

Moreover, Xbee® is distributed in liquid form in plastic containers made of easily recyclable materials, with very large quantities being transported and stored in special multi-use containers. This is all part of a more globally sustainable development scheme.

Also, the results in terms of pollutant gases are quite remarkable (see the Emissions paragraph on the Guarantees page). 

Indeed, according to the measurements performed by several independent laboratories, the Xbee® fuel additive reduces pollution due to CO, CO2, NO, NOx, SO2 and particulate emissions sometimes by double digit percentages.

Multraship and tugboats

Tugboats, in particular harbour tugs, work in pretty harsh conditions for the engines : low loads most of the time, sudden accelerations, back to idle, etc ... Many large towage and salvage companies in Europe have made the choice to use the Xbee enzyme fuel treatment to improve the performances of the engines, to clean up carbon deposits and to avoid too much smoke and particles at the exhaust.
One of the dutch leaders of harbour towage, Multraship Towage and Salvage, also entrusted Xbee to improve the conditions of work of its tugs, and to eliminate the smokes.
