Xbee enzyme operating mode

If we needed to summarize the Xbee® fuel additive’s action in a single phrase, we could say that this biotechnology’s effect is to clean and purify fuels in a natural and sustainable way.

The enzymes contained in the Xbee® fuel additive weaken the structure of hydrocarbon molecules in fuels, particularly polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), facilitating the carbon reaction and oxygen absorption during combustion limiting the formation of residues and carbon particles with more complete combustion.

The Xbee® fuel additive’s organic composition respects the mechanical elements in all types of engines (HDI, DCI, Common Rail, etc.) and makes it compatible with all types of fuels: diesel, petrol, heavy fuel oil, domestic heating oil, kerosene, biofuel, pure vegetable oil, etc.
The Xbee® fuel additive’s elimination of water minimizes the formation of non-organic sediment in tanks. The Xbee® fuel additive also reduces the presence of asphaltenes that may lead to fuel deterioration.

Xbee® enzymes are powerful natural surfactants and dispersants. Harmful contaminants such as bacteria, sludge, fungi and mould decompose and no longer adhere to reservoir walls and engine fuel supply circuits. The resulting microscopic particules are burned while larger contaminants are eliminated by filtering. The elimination of all microbial contamination reduces corrosion in fuel reservoirs, vats, bunkers, pumps, and injectors.

The Xbee® fuel additive neutralizes and controls the formation of sulphur oxides during combustion, which significantly reduces the formation of sulphuric acid and its corrosive effects on engine components.

Tugboats, in particular harbour tugs, work in pretty harsh conditions for the engines : low loads most of the time, sudden accelerations, back to idle, etc ... Many large towage and salvage companies in Europe have made the choice to use the Xbee enzyme fuel treatment to improve the performances of the engines, to clean up carbon deposits and to avoid too much smoke and particles at the exhaust.
One of the dutch leaders of harbour towage, Multraship Towage and Salvage, also entrusted Xbee to improve the conditions of work of its tugs, and to eliminate the smokes.
