CO

Carbon monoxide is the combustion marker. The more CO an engine produces, the more its combustion is deemed incomplete and, consequently, the more it pollutes and consumes. The Xbee® fuel additive significantly reduces these CO emissions. This is the direct consequence of the enzymatic action on the hydrocarbon molecules. Indeed, hyper-oxygenating these molecules improves combustion speed and yield.

Bacteria

This term generally covers all organic contaminants such as bacteria, yeast, mould, etc. This biomass needs water in the fuel to grow, which is why there is increased contamination in open-air tanks during the summer months. Condensation provides highly favourable conditions for the multiplication of bacteria.
A standard chemical biocide kills bacteria and sinks to the bottom of the tank or reservoir causing general clogging, whereas the Xbee® fuel additive’s enzymes prevent the bacteria from grouping and multiplying and de-structures the bacteria present in the fuel so that it is naturally eliminated during combustion.
In this manner, the Xbee® fuel additive naturally cleans fuel facilities.

CO₂

A clean engine normally increases its carbon dioxide emission compared to the same engine when it is clogged up. However, reducing excess fuel contamination on the one hand, and the very significant improvement in combustion on the other hand, reduces the volume of pollutant emissions by Nm3 of exhaust gases, consequently reducing the actual CO2 footprint in the order of 10% on average.

Consumption

To be entirely fair, we must mention fuel "over"-consumption. ALL engines in EVERY sector REGARDLESS of fuel tend to consume excess fuel after a few months or years of operation. This is naturally due to the quality of the fuel used which, obviously, does not correspond to that used by manufacturers during the design and test phases. For example: a ship taking on fuel on the African coast or a lorry filling up at a major brand station whose fuel facility maintenance is not always perfect.
The Xbee® fuel additive initially cleans impurities from the fuel, then cleans tanks and reservoirs clogged by months or years of mediocre quality petroleum products; lastly, it cleans engines that have suffered from a build-up of carbon deposits, sludge, etc. over time. This cleaning action enables the engine to return to normal consumption, corresponding to the measurements made on new engines by vehicle and engine manufacturers.
The decrease in carbon monoxide combined with excess air in the exhaust is a clear and demonstrative sign of reduced overconsumption.
